But what if I'm sending the Word document to someone who doesn't have LitKit?
The non-LitKit user will still see the marked redactions but will not be able to print a redacted PDF or add new redactions. The non-LitKit user will be able to remove marked redactions by right clicking on them and selecting "Remove Content Control."
My document is 500 pages long, can I use LitKit's Redaction Tool?
All good things take time. We managed to redact a 500-page document, but it took 15 minutes, a 250-page document in 7 minutes.
LitKit works as well as Microsoft Word allows it, so we recommend that you test in advance when you have large or unusual documents to make sure the processing power of Microsoft Word can take it and that the redaction can be done in a reasonable time. You can run and get a coffee while letting LitKit print out the redacted copies.
